About A Boy

Helix's Review

How can you go wrong with a Hugh Grant picture? Sure, we could talk about Mickey Blue Eyes but we'll overlook that one for now. "About A Boy" is the classic Hugh Grant vehicle and he takes us on a fabulous ride!

Helix felt this movie really spoke to him. Helix once was a care-free bachelor much like Hugh Grant's character in the film. Nothing was more important than mating with fuzzy sweaters. But his sweater swinging lifestyle all changed when he met Alyce the Sheep. It was a package deal with Alyce. As monster and sheep grew closer, Helix had to adapt to being a parental figure for her adopted lambs. Helix thinks he's been an admirable, orange role model for Alyce's offspring.

But, back to the movie. A wonderful screenplay, excellent casting, and a heartfelt ending all contribute to making this one of the best comedies Helix has seen in awhile.
