Helix Asks to Audition for "Greg the Bunny"

On March 27th, 2002 - the FOX television network will debut the "Greg the Bunny" show.

Puppets are popping up everywhere in the entertainment industry these days and Helix is a little hurt. No Hollywood producers have ever approached Helix to star in his own TV sitcom.

As Helix's fans know, he definately has the horns to make it as a TELEVISION STAR.

Helix originally contemplated a boycott of "Greg the Bunny" but his jealousy has gradually subsided.

Helix would now like to audition to be a guest puppet on the show!

Humans... Helix needs your support!

Please
voice your support for this effort by posting on the official "Greg the Bunny" message boards!

Here are some of the responses Helix has received:

"Hey Helix..

Believe it or not I am the only agent in Los Angeles who reps
puppeteers..All of the Greg the Bunny cast are my clients except for
Greg and Warren becuse they are producers."

(Pat Brady)

Naturally, Helix replied to Pat asking if he would represent him.

"Would you be willing to represent Helix?   Helix has plenty of headshots, he will give you 20% of his orange Tic-Tacs, and he is willing to work for scale and with monsters that have scales. Helix's only stipulation is that he gets top billing ahead of any Muppets!" (Helix D. Monster)

Unfortunately, Helix's demands must have been too high. He received the following rejection e-mail.

"Dear Helix,

I am so sorry but you really have to be in Los Angeles to work but
it would be my honor to forward any and all requests for a monster of your caliber to you.

Thank you for your monsterish professionalism."

(Pat)

"I think Helix is entilted to have a chance to have his own TV show.
I think he should get a chance to try out for a role. I'm tired of watching the same type of puppet on TV. They are sooooo generic. Big googly eyes, stuffing-surgery, stupid voices-- why can't we have a REAL puppt like Helix on TV? Take a stand and VOTE HELIX!"
