Moulin Rouge

Helix's Review
"The greatest thing that you will ever know is just
to be orange and let your pointy horns show!"
This was a delightful and entirely
entertaining, modern-day musical prominently featuring
Helix's favorite type of humans - those with red hair.

Helix admits that he's a bit
old-fashioned and didn't care much for the MTV-style
editing. It would have been interesting to see longer
dance numbers and fewer medlees. Helix had a hard time
with the fact that the film was nominated for an Academy
Award for Choreography when he felt the quick-cuts really
didn't give the audience the full experience.
While Helix had some minor
disagreements with the style of the movie, it didn't
detract from his overall enjoyment. This film has also
inspired Helix in his other business ventures. While some
celebrities are content to invest in Planet Hollywood
restaurants, Helix now envisions his own version of the
Moulin Rouge, tenatively named, "l'Orange de
Marionnette".
