Helix recently held a press conference where he confirmed the reports were true.
A kind, monster-loving flight attendant gave Helix a bag of Planter's Peanuts to calm him down. After Helix ate the flight attendant, he turned his attention to the peanuts. These were no ordinary nuts. These were honey roasted! One taste and Helix was instantly hooked!
But, it was such a small bag and Helix has such a big appetite. There was only one thing to do. Helix sneaked out of the cargo hold and began scaring passengers until he had accumulated the entire plane's supply of peanuts.
One night, after the store was closed and the workers had left, Helix began to explore. In the snack aisle, he saw something that made his horns stand straight up! "Peanut Butter Crackers".
Helix had never tried mixing peanut butter with another edible. He immediately ripped into one package, then another, then another. Helix didn't stop until they were all gone. With a loud groan, Helix slumped over and passed out in a sea of plastic wrappers and cracker crumbs.
It is at this point you would
think Helix would realize he had a problem. But, it gets
much worse. Eventually, Helix was sold and shipped to St.
Paul, Minnesota. It was a very exciting time to be living
so close to the headquarters of the "Pearson's Nut
Roll" company.
Before too long, Helix was exposed to all kinds of creamy
and crunchy peanut buttery substances.
Yes, Helix got his paws on a Pearson's Nut Roll. And he
also spread peanut butter on apple slices. He even mixed
it with JELLY.
But it wasn't all peanut butter bliss. Without a peanut
butter fix once an hour, Helix's horns would start to
shake. And then there were the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup
withdrawals.
Helix lost all interest in scaring people - not to
mention mating. His life BECAME peanut butter.
Pretty soon, Helix reached rock bottom - eating peanut
butter straight, in its most pure and potent form.

Every addict has a favorite drug
and Helix's mistress was Skippy. At first, he was
spreading the fun all over! But, the consumption of
peanut butter was having a devastating physical effect on
Helix. His belly had stretched so much that he was in
grave danger of busting a seam.
Helix's friends, Sully and Mike staged an intervention
and convinced Helix that he needed help. Helix finally
agreed to check himself in to a treatment center.
Helix has now been peanut butter
free for over a month. Life couldn't be better for a
monster hand puppet!
Helix even made a friend in Rehab - Robert Downey Jr.
What crazy adventures will these two share?
Has Helix kicked the PB habit for good or will he
relapse?
