Ever since he was made, Helix has dreamed of being a rock star. What monster hasn't? Last year, Helix burst onto the music scene as a founding member of the punk band , "Orange Monster Cult".



Instant fame proved to be too much for a young puppet. He quickly developed an addiction to peanut butter and one night, strung out on Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Helix hit rock bottom and devoured his band mates.

If it weren't for an intervention by David Crosby (whose battles with peanut butter use are legendary), who knows where Helix would be today? After a month in rehab, Helix succesfully kicked the habit.
Helix was back and ready to rejoin the music industry.

Helix's troubled past caused many to shy away from him but he managed to land an audition with Fraggle Rock. However, his paws were too clumsy to play an instrument and he lacked vocal cords. In a crushing blow to his ego, Fraggle Rock turned Helix away in favor of David Lee Roth.

Did Helix give up? NO! He decided to go SOLO! So what if he isn't musically inclined? That never stopped Michael Bolton! Coming this fall, be the first human on your block to experience Helix D. Monster's debut album, "Polyester Dreams" featuring covers of popular human songs.
